Quality / Safety / Systems
The three pillars our project work is built on.
Vicesima implements management systems compliant with ISO 9001, PN-N-18001 (occupational health and safety) and ISO 14001 (environmental management). The company's safety culture draws on standards carried over from the mining and fuel sectors.
Quality of the services we offer
For Plato, quality was "a certain degree of excellence".
Guided by that idea, we are confident that the services we offer will not disappoint the trust placed in us. Through cooperation with leading companies in Poland and abroad, commitment and attention to detail combined with modern solutions, we confidently reach the goals we set ourselves: the satisfaction of our clients.
Safety as a priority
Safety is what gives a sense of certainty and the opportunity to improve.
Every accident is one accident too many. We are aware that the highest safety standards emerge where the potential hazard is greatest — the best known solutions come from the mining and fuel sectors. Many undesirable events affecting life, health and the environment can be avoided by ensuring an appropriate level of awareness among employees and subcontractors.
Drawing on its experience of working with fuel groups, VICESIMA takes action to reinforce a culture of safety.
We have built into our system a range of well-considered and effective safety rules that engage our employees and subcontractors to the same degree. The solutions we apply have reduced hazards to a minimum. We also offer services such as HSE training and outsourcing.
Quality management systems
To guarantee our clients and subcontractors the highest standards of quality and safety, we implement management systems compliant with the following standards:
- ISO 9001 — quality management system,
- PN-N-18001 — occupational health and safety management system,
- ISO 14001 — environmental management system.
How this translates into projects
Standards do not stop at documents. In practice they mean that sampling is accredited and analyses go to an accredited laboratory — because only such results carry evidential weight in administrative proceedings. They also mean supervision of progress during soil remediation, with control samples taken as the work goes on rather than at handover.
The same standard applies to soil contamination testing, environmental monitoring and HSE services. The results of that consistency are described under awards and references, including the international Royal Dutch Shell award for achievement in environmental protection and safety.
